In order to link navCenter to your vessel's navigation data you will need to purchase either a permanent licence or an annual subscription. Both of these options are offered as an In-App Purchase.
navCenter offers exactly the same functionality with either licensing option and both options allow you to run a copy of navCenter on all compatible devices you have registered under the AppleID used to make the purchase.
This means that with a single purchase of a permanent license or subscription you could run navCenter on an iPad to act as a control point at your navigation station while simultaneously running navCenter on your iPhone and Apple Watch - handy while keeping watch on deck.
navCenter subscribes to Apple's Family Sharing offer. Which means anyone in your Family Sharing group is also able to run navCenter on their devices. Great for families who like to sail together.

Upgrades and additions to navCenter will be distributed free of charge to existing permanent licence holders and subscribers.
As we add additional functionality to navCenter the cost of a permanent licence and subscription may be inceased. However new prices will only be applied to new purchases or subscriptions.
In addition your subscriptions cost will be fixed at your initial rate and never be increased as long as you do not cancel your subscription or allow it to expire due to a billing issue.
Should new functionality require the purchase of external data provided by a third party then you will be responsible purchasing access to such data.
An exampe of such a scenario would be the addition of a Plotter to navCenter. We would make no charge to existing permanent licence holders and subscribers to access the Plotter functionality but you would be responsible for making any payment required to the provider of the chart data you wish to use.
We are currently planning to introduce Plotter capability to navCenter in the third quarter of 2025.
